It is theoretically the male version of a handbag. You don’t leave the house without it and it has to go with what you’re wearing.
Although many wallets made out of leather and similar materials can go with anything, they are very generic and nearly everyone has a leather wallet or has owned one at some stage.
My idea stems from a business card holder type wallet made out of metal. Money clips are usually made out of metal, but these are meant for notes and not for cards etc.. Some are designed for cards, but it does not cover it wholly and leaves the magnetic strip bare for scratching of keys amongst other things.
I wanted something small and functional but big enough to hold cards and notes. It had to fit snugly in pockets be lightweight so as not to weigh down pockets and attractive enough to be worn with smart casual, classy clothing. If this was to be used on going out occasions and not just as a general everyday wallet, the suitable flexibility would be for a minimum of three cards ( Drivers licence, credit card, debit card).
The ideal material used would be stainless steel. It is strong, light, pliable and rust proof. It can also be anodized so any colour could be put onto it as well as rainbow styles.

For us guys, Man’s wallet should be thin and slim. Otherwise thick wallet creates an unsightly bulge look and inconvenience to carry it. Money clip is recommended as an alternative option, but it does not cover credit cards and IDs as you mentioned. I think this business card holder type wallet well considered between style and functionality and enriched the experience for his main target.
For improvement, I would say that black or silver is more recommendable for your main target (business man) rather than bright blue colour.
The overall concept design for the money clip is pretty suitable for the target market.. however i have concern about the materials of the product..
It is made out of metal which produce safety hazard such as sharp corners.. (this money clip are designed to be placed on the back pocket of male pants) this could be uncomfortable for the consumer.
I suggest that you re think the shape, size and most importantly the materials of the design!
i like the idea of money clip,it looks stylish and fasion,which is very suitable for your target market,and the unique designing may let the product become a talking point which brings the pleasure to people.And i think it would be better to use metal colour,so that looks profesional.
very simple design that i think is also very effective. for the target market, i think it is needed to be slim and very compact so that there isnt to much bulk in it. it seems to be a more practical product rather then a product that has alot of style, although that can still be incorporated with material and color selection.
